Dell charge 10$ for each BIOS configuration

I was configuring a Dell notebook D630 on Dell's website when I stumbled upon the following options:
(1) You can pre-configure your BIOS on the website but Dell would charge 10$ for each configuration
(2) To remove some of the microsoft components such as Microsoft Outlook and games, Dell would charge 2$ each. You also have an option to remove the default Dell wallpaper.
These two options gives me some idea on their profit margin.
