Flagr is a web based SHAREWHERE community that encourages users to mark interesting places on the map. Some of flagr maps are North America Bike Trails, Most Dangerous Places, Runners Maps, Ski Jump Areas etc.
Flagr makes use of Google maps. If you don't have any thing special to share may be you can create a map of your own to show the places you have been to

An innovative way to read news

Mibazaar blogs makes use of Google News RSS Feeds, Google Earth and Yahoo Geocoding/Traffic to display all events and news in an innovative new way. It's quite an interesting way to read news, just enter your zip code and you'll see a google map with a balloon tool tip showing all the major event in that zip code. It's the same format that applies to all the other news section (For example you can follow Sachin Tendulkar's history on google maps).
